Anne Blythe, M.Ed. is a nationally recognized expert on betrayal trauma and its causes: emotional and psychological abuse and sexual coercion in marriage.
When marriage feels confusing, she helps women see the truth about their situation, recognize harm, and respond with strategy and strength.
Anne brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She endured betrayal trauma for seven years during her marriage and eight years post-divorce, guiding her trauma-informed, victim-centered approach.
Her expertise is grounded in extensive qualitative research and direct, practical work with victims. Anne has conducted over 220 in-depth interviews with women who have experienced marital betrayal. Her work challenges harmful recovery paradigms and provides clear, practical strategies. Over the years, the BTR Team has helped over 8,000 women thrive after betrayal.
